Authorities in Kampong Speu Province Decides to Ban Alcohol Billboards

KAMPONG SPEU: The Chairman of Kampong Speu Provincial Council, Yim Sokhom has given remarks at a press conference over the efforts in the province to take down advertisement of alcohol beverages in billboards. The press conference was organized by the Royal Government Spokesperson Unit in Phnom Penh.

The Provincial Council Chairman, Yim Sokhom, has stated the provincial authorities are disseminating and educating vendors that sells alcohol and advertise them to remove such billboards from public areas.

It’s an attempt to maintain order and safety for all citizens, eliminating such ads from public areas all around the province. In the same billboard, the authorities have stated they will place ads promoting health measures.
